Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI) announced today that it has invested in Syzygy Plasmonics, Inc. (Syzygy), a startup company headquartered in Houston, Texas, that is developing photocatalytic technology for hydrogen production and CO2 utilization solutions. The investment has been executed through Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA).

Honeywell and GranBio to Produce Carbon Neutral Sustainable Aviation Fuel
Honeywell (Nasdaq: HON) and GranBio Technologies today announced that they will combine Honeywell's ethanol to jet (ETJ) technology with GranBio's cellulosic ethanol AVAP® technology to produce carbon neutral sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) from biomass residues at GranBio's forthcoming U.S. demonstration plant.

Aker Carbon Capture awarded feasibility study for biomass combined heat and power facility in Germany
Aker Carbon Capture has been awarded a feasibility study to implement carbon capture at a biomass combined heat and power (CHP) facility in Germany. The planned capture capacity will be 250,000 tonnes CO2 per year. For this project, Aker Carbon Capture aims to deliver its standardized Just Catch modular product.
