Liquid hydrogen production facility planned in Ardmore
Description
An Australian energy company has purchased land in Ardmore with plans to build a liquid hydrogen production facility there in coming years.
An announcement of the plan by Perth-based Woodside Energy was made this week by the Ardmore Development Authority (ADA), OG&E and the Oklahoma Department of Commerce.
According to a release, Woodside has secured a lease and option to buy 94 acres from the ADA. The company also has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hyzon Motors related to development of the “H2OK” liquid hydrogen production facility.
