Air Liquide and Sasol Sign New Long-Term Contracts to Supply an Additional 100 MW of Renewable Electricity to the Secunda Site
Description
Air Liquide (Paris: AI) and Sasol signed new Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Mainstream Renewable Power for 97.5 MW of renewable power at Sasol’s Secunda site in South Africa. These agreements, the third set for Air Liquide and Sasol, contribute to a total renewable power capacity of about 580 MW. They align with Air Liquide's target to cut CO2 emissions from oxygen production in Secunda by 30% to 40% by 2031.
