Jacobs Announced as Program Manager for California Hydrogen Hub
Description
Jacobs was selected as Program Manager for the Alliance for Renewable Clean Hydrogen Energy Systems (ARCHES), a public private partnership (P3) establishing a statewide clean hydrogen hub (H2) in California, one of seven national hubs announced by the White House and recently granted funding by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Clean Energy Demonstration (DOE OCED).

FEED Contract Awarded to SLB and Aker Carbon Capture Joint Venture by CO280 for Major Carbon Removal Initiative
The SLB and Aker Carbon Capture joint venture (SLB-ACC JV) today announced a contract award by its partner CO280 Solutions for front-end engineering and design (FEED) of a large-scale carbon capture plant at a pulp and paper mill on the U.S. Gulf Coast. The project, which aims to remove 800,000 tonnes of carbon emissions annually, will also deliver permanent, verifiable, and affordable carbon dioxide removals (CDRs).

Computer Modelling Group Ltd. announces its carbon capture and storage (CCS) solution has been chosen by Sval Energi AS for the Trudvang project in the Norwegian North Sea. The project aims to capture CO2 from industrial sources in Northern Europe and store it under the seabed, with a potential to store nine million tons annually, starting in 2029.

Hexagon Purus, a world leading manufacturer of zero emission mobility and infrastructure solutions, has received its first purchase order under the previously announced long-term agreement with Hino Trucks. The purchase order, which has a value of approximately USD 5.5 million, is for the delivery of Tern RC8s, a battery electric Class 8 truck tailored for the U.S. market. The trucks are scheduled for delivery in Q3 and Q4 2024.
