The improved facility is expected to dispense approximately 14 million gasoline gallon equivalents of fuel over the next decade. The site expansion provides an additional 1.7 million gallons of capacity to serve commercial transportation fleets across the Central Valley.
The Ministry of Economy, Innovation and Energy approved a five-year geological carbon storage pilot project for Questerre Energy Corporation. The company will evaluate carbon dioxide storage potential using an existing well located near the Becancour industrial park in Quebec. The provincial government will fund up to 75 percent of qualified pilot expenditures under its carbon storage legislation.
