Phoenix Hydrogen Hub LLC Project Invited into Phase II of U.S. Department of Energy $1.3 Billion Loan Application Process

Nikola Corporation (Nasdaq: NKLA), a global leader in zero-emissions transportation and energy supply and infrastructure solutions, today announced that the Department of Energy Loan Program Office (LPO) has invited its Phoenix Hydrogen Hub LLC project loan application into Part II of its application process. The project loan application was submitted on May 26, 2022 and has now progressed through the Part I review.

(NYSE: CMI) today announced that it, through its subsidiary Meritor, has completed its acquisition of Siemens’ Commercial Vehicles business, a leading global supplier of high-performance electric drive systems for commercial vehicles. NuScale Power Signs Research Collaboration Agreement for Clean Hydrogen Production
NuScale Power, LLC (NuScale) along with Shell Global Solutions (Shell) and industry participants will develop and assess a concept for an economically optimized Integrated Energy System (IES) for hydrogen production using electricity and process heat from a NuScale VOYGR™ small modular reactor (SMR) power plant. The project entitled, “Development and Demonstration of a Concept for an Economically Optimized IES,” will be completed in two phases. Additional research participants include Idaho National Laboratory, Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems (UAMPS), Fuel Cell Energy, FPoliSolutions, and GSE Solutions.
