Air Liquide and Sasol Sign Long-term Contracts to Supply an Additional 110 MW of Renewable Energy to the Secunda Site

Description

Air Liquide and Sasol signed new Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Enel Green Power RSA1 for 110 MW of renewable power in South Africa. These PPAs add to the 2023 agreements, totaling around 690 MW of renewable capacity. Air Liquide expects a reduction of 1.2 million tonnes in CO2 emissions annually, contributing to its goal of reducing CO2 emissions from oxygen production in Secunda by 30% to 40% by 2031.
