Avina Clean Hydrogen has announced a $820 million investment in a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) facility in Southwest Illinois. Using KBR's alcohol-to-jet technology, the plant will produce 120 million gallons of ASTM-certified SAF annually. This project will significantly reduce carbon emissions and advance aviation decarbonization targets. It also supports Illinois' clean energy initiatives.
