  The Fuel Cell & Hydrogen Energy Association (FCHEA), joined by 54 companies and organizations across the hydrogen landscape, calls on the Department of Treasury to implement the Section 45V Credit for the Production of Clean Hydrogen enacted by the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) without additionality requirements.

• Electric Hydrogen Announces Gigafactory in Devens, Massachusetts to Enable Ultra Low-Cost Green Hydrogen Production

  Electric Hydrogen Co. (“EH2”), a manufacturer of advanced, industrial-scale hydrogen electrolyzer technology, announced today the location of its first factory in Devens, Massachusetts. The company has leased a newly constructed 187,000 ft2 facility and is now hiring production team members. The Devens factory will have an annual manufacturing capacity of 1.2GW with production of EH2’s 100MW green hydrogen electrolyzers commencing in Q1 2024.

• BWR Innovations Partners with Intelligent Energy on Volume Supply Agreement

  BWR Innovations, a prominent provider of innovative energy storage solutions, has announced its Volume Supply Agreement and partnership with Intelligent Energy, a leading developer of hydrogen fuel systems. The collaboration will allow BWR Innovations to meet the federal government's rising demands for decarbonization and cleaner energy. The government is offering generous financial incentives to U.S. citizens to do so, increasing customer demand for the Oncore Residential Generator. This partnership allows BWR to secure a greater supply of the fuel cell modules that Intelligent Energy manufactures.

• BASF and Advent Technologies sign agreement to establish end-to-end supply chain for hydrogen fuel cell systems in Europe

  BASF Environmental Catalyst and Metal Solutions, a global leader in precious metals and catalysis, and Advent Technologies Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADN), an innovation-driven leader in the fuel cell and hydrogen technology sectors, have concluded the terms of a new agreement to join efforts in building a full loop component supply chain for fuel cells and enter discussions to extend the partnership into the field of water electrolysis.
