Energy, pipeline companies offer 500 million tons of carbon capture capacity to Louisiana industry
"EnLink Midstream and Talos Energy are jointly offering carbon capture, transportation and sequestration for industrial-scale emitters in Louisiana, the companies announced Tuesday.
The service offering is focused on the Mississippi River corridor from Baton Rouge to New Orleans, which is one of the largest concentrated sources of carbon dioxide emissions in the nation. Industry leaders and state officials say they want to reduce the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere."

Carbon certificate provider Agreena secures €20 million in Series A round
"Agreena, a Danish startup that mints, verifies and sells carbon certificates generated by farmers who transition to regenerative farming, has raised a €20-million Series A round.
The round was led by Kinnevik, a leading European investor in tech-enabled growth-stage businesses, with continued participation from existing investors Giant Ventures, Vaekstfonden – the Danish states’ investment fund – and farmer angel investors. This brings the startup’s total funding to €26.9 million."
