XPRIZE Announces 15 Winners of $1 Million Each

Inside this issue

Last week, XPRIZE announced the 15 milestone award winners. The solutions are categorized across air, land, ocean, and rocks with the ambitious goal of removing carbon at gigatonnes per year scale.

Each of the 15 milestone winning teams has been awarded $1M to recognize their efforts to date and support their continued work to scale solutions. The overall winners will be awarded $80M in 2025. Source: XPRIZE

Industrials companies will need to know these firms to reduce CO2 in innovative ways. There is no silver bullet, but these companies are creating solutions with direct air capture, carbon capture, mineralization, and other techniques to capture and sequester CO2.
