Carbon & Hydrogen Data for Your Next Project
Inside this issue
Over the last couple weeks, I have had several questions about data sources for hydrogen, carbon capture, facilities, carbon offsets, and pricing data.
“The goal is to turn data into information, and information into insight.” – Carly Fiorina, former executive, president, and chair of Hewlett-Packard Co.
There is no shortage of data, not to mention the information buried in presentations, transcripts, and other sources. With so much data at your fingertips, what are you to do and what is a good source? The list today provides (mostly) free data sources that you can use alongside other internal information.
My favorite this week is the Voluntary Registry Offsets Database from Berkeley Carbon Trading Project. This database combines several voluntary carbon markets to get a holistic view of offset supply and retirements.
Take a look, dig in, and let me know if you have any questions.
