The American Biogas Council (ABC) has announced another record-breaking year for its annual flagship BIOGAS AMERICAS trade event. Held April 28–30, 2025, in Denver, Colorado (CO), the fourth consecutive year, the conference and tradeshow shattered previous records and solidified its reputation as North America’s largest biogas and renewable natural gas (RNG) event.
This year’s tradeshow and conference welcomed over 2,000 attendees, featured 340 exhibits, and showcased 250 companies across nearly 100,000 square feet of exhibit space—a 30 percent increase compared to 2024, demonstrating both the momentum of the biogas industry and the growing importance of BIOGAS AMERICAS as the market’s flagship event.
Biogas from organic waste can power and heat homes, fuel vehicles, or generate electricity, and organic fertilizer is a byproduct of biogas production, which helps support soil health.
Every year, the enthusiasm, innovation, and investment around biogas and RNG grows – and this year’s conference in Denver showed that it is like never before. BIOGAS AMERICAS is where innovation meets purpose – leading us toward a more sustainable future powered by reliable, renewable energy produced from organic waste material, said Patrick Serfass, Executive Director, American Biogas Council (ABC).
From project developers and operators to policymakers, financiers, and technology providers, BIOGAS AMERICAS continues to be the must-attend event for anyone in or near the biogas industry.

Sessions covered the latest in project development, policy updates, carbon markets, and technology trends, all aimed at driving growth and delivering climate benefits.
Looking ahead to BIOGAS AMERICAS 2026, which will be held in Detroit, Michigan (MI), May 18–21, 2026, the momentum is already building: according to ABC, over 50 percent of the 2026 tradeshow floor is already sold, with even more space planned to accommodate demand.
