SAN RAMON, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Enpower Corp. (“Enpower”), a California-based independent energy producer, announced today that on November 21, 2025, it closed on the sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Wadham Energy Limited Partnership (“Wadham”), owner and operator of a 27 MW rice husk biomass-fueled energy facility in Colusa County, California, to High Rock Energy LLC and HR Energy GP (collectively, the High Rock Energy Group), members of an infrastructure fund focused on power and water projects in the West.

“It was in the long-term interests of the Wadham stakeholders and customers to find a partner that best positioned them for continued success well into the future. We are fully confident the High Rock Energy Group is the right partner to take the helm. We wish all the best to the High Rock team, and I extend many thanks to them for their confidence in the Wadham project and team, and their professionalism in closing the transaction,” said Ed Tomeo, President and CEO, Enpower Corp. He added, “We are pleased that all of our Wadham employees will transfer employment to the High Rock Energy Group.”
“We are excited to take over ownership of Wadham Energy and become a part of the fantastic team that has operated the facility for the past 30 years. The transition will be seamless, and our customer relations, supply chain, and plan to provide baseload power to California will remain unchanged. We are a people-first company, and we welcome the opportunity to carry on the positive impact that Wadham Energy has had on the local community,” said Abhilash Sharma, Co-Founder and COO, High Rock Energy Group.
