A former Speaker of the California State Assembly and Majority Leader of the California State Senate, Hertzberg is a globally recognized leader in energy policy, climate solutions, and infrastructure development. With decades of experience shaping environmental and economic policies at the state, national, and international levels, Hertzberg brings a wealth of expertise to FPH2.

His global leadership in renewable energy has earned him widespread recognition, including the United Nations Global Energy Award and the World Bank Award for Innovation in Energy Policy.In addition, he was named one of the "50 People Who Could Save the Planet" by The Guardian (UK) and a "Top 100 Low Carbon Pioneer" by CNBC Business. Between his tenure in public office, Hertzberg chaired multiple renewable energy companies and advised clean energy development in several regions around the globe.
