SÃO PAULO, Brazil--ICM, Inc. has signed an agreement with Atvos to provide its proprietary process technology package and engineering services for the company's first corn ethanol facility. The project will be integrated into Atvos' existing Santa Luzia industrial complex in Nova Alvorada do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, marking an important milestone in the company's strategy to diversify feedstocks while expanding renewable fuel production.
Under the agreement, ICM will supply Selective Milling Technology™, Base Tricanter System™, FST Next Gen™, and FOT Oil Recovery™ technologies. Together, these technologies will support year-round renewable fuel production while enabling high-value co-products, including distillers grains for animal nutrition and corn oil.

Located in one of Brazil's premier agricultural regions, the Santa Luzia complex benefits from abundant grain production, reliable biomass availability, and a well-established bioenergy infrastructure. Integrating corn ethanol production into the existing sugarcane operation allows Atvos to leverage existing utilities, logistics and operational expertise while improving capital efficiency and expanding production throughout the year.

When complete, the facility is expected to process approximately 642,000 metric tons of corn annually, producing 273 million liters of ethanol per year, along with 183,000 metric tons of DDGS and 13,000 metric tons of corn oil.
