OXT continues expanding and advancing our focus and IP to breakthrough technologies in carbon conversion and clean fuel synthesis, driving decarbonization.
OXT continues to advance it’s MA technology building an expansive IP portfolio/global patents most recently focusing our expertise on the application of MA into Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF).”— Robert Mulverhill, Executive Chairman
OXT Technologies, Inc. (OXT) was previously awarded U.S. Patent No. 12,291,683 from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for “Processes and Systems for Production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel from Syngas Via Mixed Alcohols.” OXT has now entered the international stage via the Patent Cooperation Treaty in Europe, Canada, Mexico, China, India, Brazil, Australia, South Africa, South Korea, Singapore, and Saudi Arabia—protecting all key global markets for OXT’s Mixed Alcohol (MA) technology to produce Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
The aviation industry is under increasing pressure to reduce carbon emissions as global air travel continues to grow. SAF has emerged as a practical near-term pathway to decarbonize aviation and meet long-term climate targets. OXT’s patented MA technology offers a scalable, cost-effective route to produce drop-in, low-carbon SAF from a wide range of abundant and renewable feedstocks.

Backed by decades of research, engineering, and process development, OXT has advanced its technology into a flexible platform that integrates well with internationally proven alcohol-to jet synthesis technologies as well as existing aviation infrastructure. The OXT technology offers tremendous feedstock flexibility, enabling use of diverse biomass and renewable resources.
OXT has developed and advanced technology, processes and engineering solutions in conjunction with various companies around the world. OXT has a legacy of innovation spanning nearly three decades. OXT continues expanding and advancing our focus and IP to breakthrough technologies in carbon conversion and clean fuel synthesis. We are redefining what’s possible—transforming off gases into clean, drop-in fuels, driving decarbonization at scale without disrupting the energy infrastructure that keeps the world moving. OXT’s advanced gas-to-alcohol technology transforms carbon containing gases—such as methane from landfills and low-value industrial waste gases into high-performance, low carbon, liquid fuels—including aviation. These fuels are fully compatible with existing transportation and industrial infrastructure, offering practical, scalable solutions for decarbonization. By harnessing underutilized gas, waste streams, and bio-derived sources, OXT creates a direct bridge between today’s energy demands and tomorrow’s lower-carbon future.
