From cars and commercial trucks to the infrastructure that fuels them, Toyota is investing in the growth of the hydrogen economy
LAS VEGAS (May 5, 2026) – Toyota Motor North America’s long-term commitment to hydrogen is on full display at the 2026 Advanced Clean Transportation (ACT) Expo, where the company outlined its new milestones and investments across commercial trucking, fueling infrastructure, and stationary power generation before an audience of clean mobility industry leaders.
“For those still on the fence about fuel cells, the technology is here—and it’s quite good,” said Thibaut de Barros Conti, vice president, Toyota Hydrogen Solutions. “For a hydrogen society to grow into what it deserves to be, we owe it to ourselves to collaborate as an industry to make it happen. We owe it to ourselves to build this industry up together.”
