“Electrification is becoming a key enabler for industrial decarbonization, and carbon capture solutions must evolve accordingly,” says Tobias Keller, Executive Director Adsorption & Membrane Plants, Linde Engineering. “With HISORP®, we provide an electrically driven CO₂ capture technology that avoids the need for steam and allows customers to leverage renewable electricity. Partnering with Valmet ensures that this technology is effectively integrated at mill level, helping pulp and paper producers achieve significant emission reductions.”
“Pulp and paper mills offer unique opportunities for carbon capture, but successful implementation requires deep process knowledge and reliable integration at the mill level,” says Lari-Matti Kuvaja, Director, Environmental Solutions, Pulp, Energy and Circularity, Valmet. “Our collaboration with Linde combines electrically driven CO₂ separation with Valmet’s expertise in flue gas conditioning and mill-wide integration, supporting our customers on their path toward lower emissions and carbon-neutral production.”
Linde is a leading global industrial gases and engineering company. It serves a wide range of industries with gases, technologies, and services that improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.
